The end is near! Violet and Desmon on getting close to having the baby which is big news in the world of Plus One. For those keeping score, I’ve got a list of comics to get done before the little one pops out but I can say we’re now descending into a smooth landing. I would be lying if I didn’t say I was a little nervous, but I’ll try to hold it together if you do too.

In other news, tonight my daughter decided to take a face plant to the ground and managed to cut her lip pretty bad. The sad part is that she landed and started crying but that girl falls so many times that we didn’t even break a sweat over it. It wasn’t until I’d picked her up and was consoling her that I even noticed the blood dripping down her lip.

Yeah, I may have freaked out a little. Luckily Diane was there to take care of the situation although I pulled through in the end. So that was the bad part of my night.

The good part was that Diane decided to take me out for dinner for being awesome. It was pretty sweet and the little one even sat in a high chair the entire time and enjoy some tomatoes, broccoli and cheese with us. I mean, I always knew that being awesome had it’s own rewards, but this was pretty sweet too.
