First of all, the baby did not just drop into the toilet. Yes, that was the first reaction I got when a friend looked over the comic when I was making it. But for those of you playing along at home, this is the beginning. Yes, after a whole year (poor Violet), it would appear that the baby is just around the corner. I will say that Anna won’t be popping out next week but it’s a pretty fun little adventure.

So the other night Diane and I watched “The Invention of Lying” which isn’t half bad. I was expecting a full blown romantic comedy with the stereotypical plot line of “guy meets girl, guy likes girls, they date, guy messes up, epic climax of getting the girl back with boom box.” Yeah, it wasn’t like that. I would go as far as to say that the guy doesn’t even mess up in the movie. He doesn’t get down on one knee and beg for forgiveness or go through some elaborate plan to prove his love for the main chick. Not to say those elements are there in one form or another, but they aren’t huge plot devices. And I liked that.

But more importantly, I made an amazing home made mac n’ cheese with chicken tonight. Diane mentioned that she had never had gourmet mac n’ cheese so I decided to wipe something up. The results? She loved it and we’re still full! Amelia loved it as well but she only ate the cheese sauce. I swear, that girl is getting more like her parents each day.

Did I also mention that she’s walking with confidence now between the couches while holding stuff! I get nervous every time she does it but she plows through with amazing grace.

Until next week, make sure to check out this weeks blog post and Grumpy Bunnies!
