Ok, I admit it. This is the first time that you get to see Anna and at the same time, she’s not that cute! It’s something I struggled with for over 2 weeks until I came up with something I remotely like. Point of the story is, don’t take judge Anna based solely on that one panel, ok? Plus, how many babies fresh from the womb have you seen that look amazing? Yeah, didn’t think so.

So this weekend we’re going to Portland to visit with my family which will be really exciting. It’s going to be awesome on several fronts but the biggest one is that no one up there has seen my daughter walk in person. Yeah, video and web cams count but they don’t carry as much weight as your own two eyes.

Also this week we bough Red Dead Redemption. Diane has been playing it like crazy today. Yesterday she was nice enough to stop after about 45 minutes but tonight, going on 3 hours… So, is it good? Don’t know, but judging from her reaction so far. Pretty awesome.

Last, but not least, I finally ran the updated rules to the Universal Press contest through the Legalbot and she says it’s ok. They still retain the rights to reprint your work which is to be expect but they don’t own the copyright, the ideas or anything else about your comic. I’m pretty sure I’ll enter but I don’t think I’ll win since my story is very narrative driven and most newspaper don’t like that.
