Man, this week is crazy! So right now I’m working on several projects which is keeping me super busy. One of my projects is a set of comics for 541 Live. This weekend I finished all my blue pencil drawings and I officially showed them off. They were warmly received and I have the green light to wrap them up. The only problem? I’m also doing a guest strip for Callous and another web comic (you’ll find out later).

So I’ve got all this work and in the back of my brain I’m starting to prepare for the family vacation at the end of June. Which brings me to my next topic which is a call for guest strips. If you have some interest in providing me with some cover while I’m out for a week, then send me a message and I’ll give you the details. I’m looking for anything really. Fan art, comics, my characters, your. What ever your heart desires.

Other things that happened tonight was “The Box”. Have you seen it? Stars Cameron Diaz and Cyclopes. Well, after finishing the movie, Diane and I both agreed that it really sucked. They had an awesome set up but the pay off was horrible! For my own personal take on the ending, high light the following [spoiler] Instead of the alien twist, it would have worked better with a government conspiracy. I mean, why are humans being judged by aliens? Nothing like kicking someone to the ground several times and then offering help only to say it was the wrong choice. [/spoiler] Anyway, that’s just my humble opinion of a bad movie. Honestly, I’m more ashamed at Netflix because they said we’d probably like it.

I’ll close with the sad news that 2P Start! is officially closing their doors. I only recently discovered the awesomeness that happens over there but I’m sad I missed out on the journey. It makes me think about how Plus One will end someday to which Diane reminded me “18 years. 18 years. Got one of your kids got you for 18 years.” 18 years of Plus One? Yeah, I’m scared too…
