So today is the last day of our little vacation to Portland and it was amazing! Actually, I have no way of knowing that since I’m writing this from Saturday but we can easily assume so. The trip up here wasn’t as bad as I was expecting it to be with my daughter. She managed to make it really far with out needing a break and when we finally did stop it was more for diapers then anything.
She was rather cute the entire trip with lots of baby talk and playing. When she gets tired everything becomes super silly so we had a giggle fest going for sometime. Needless to say, it was pretty awesome. What wasn’t awesome was leaving the house around 6pm and arriving shortly before midnight. UGH right? That was some trip.
In comic news, I was looking into the Washington Post one and things are looking except for one minor thing… my comic sizes are a bit off. I was talking with Diane about how I can frankenstien the thing together but I’m not sure how well it’ll work. I mean, if I can’t enter with my best material, is it worth entering? Yes. Silly question I know. Regardless, best wishes to everyone who’s entering and I’ll see you on Thursday.

This is where I started reading when I saw the printed version you brought in that one time at the meet up group. It all comes together after all re-reading the back story!

I’m glad it makes sense, I’d be a pretty horrible writer if it didn’t. Hard to imagine that I’ve drawn 70+ comics since we first met. Eeesh, where does time go?

Plus you can see how your character design and quality developed over the year!

I know, it’s crazy! I still remember back when I first drew this strip how good I thought it looked. Now I can hardly stand to look at it, I can only imagine what I’ll think next year when I look back at this one.
