Did you notice that? Just now… the comic has now been updated into color. Whoa! It’s like the Wizard of Oz all over again minus the creepy flying monkeys.
As I mentioned on Wednesday, we’re in the process of moving and it’s been really stressful. It’s been so stressful because of a specific little one who happens to need our attention. You see, before we could move in 1 day and it was easy. Just pack and push until we were done. But no, now we have to take breaks and what not in order to play with our daughter. The worse part is that we can really only pack/move when she’s sleeping which is a HUGE pain in the ass. Thus far, we’ve only set up the essentials and now we’re breaking (or as I like to call it, Diane went back to work). So I’ll spend my free time this weekend installing some baby proof tech and putting away clothes.
Oh my! It’s my new office and work space:
Looks good doesn’t it? Just don’t turn around otherwise you’ll see that we’re not even close to…
Oh, ok. Just ignore my suggestions, it’s cool… So in order to make it up to me, you have to listen to my next bit of advice in this weeks “Comic You Should Read”
Comic You Should Read: This week I’d like to point the spot light on Callous. Callous is the story of Rianne as she walks the life of a medical professional. I keep it vague because she’s always doing something random from checking up on patients to talking with her guardian duck Cal. Wait… what? Yep! Callous is one unique strip in that there are guardian ducks who help out humans. They aren’t secret invisible gremlins, they’re just there helping out.
Not everyone has a guardian duck though, that would just be silly.
This strip is particularly entertaining because you know there are based slightly on truth. In today’s trip, Rianne explains that there are healthy bacteria in yogurt and everyone starts to freak out about germs. I can easily see some medical person seeing no harm in spelling things out specifically how they are but losing the fact that the rest of us are easily scared and nervous about these types of thing. I don’t want to think about eating a bunch of bacteria when I’m eating yogurt, even if it’s good for me (and no, please don’t tell me about cheese, it’s fungus and that’s all I need to know).
Anyway, you should be a reading it and you’ll have plenty of strips to go through as it’s been around for over 7 tears now.
Now stay safe and have a good weekend, I know that school will be starting soon for most of the US (if it hasn’t already), so enjoy the summer while it last.

You have to remember that this is a semi-autobiographical story. So… I can make the story how ever I see fit. And in this case, June and Glinda decided to clean the house for Violet.
