Ugh…

My computer is a dick. Diane says my 8 year old computer is starting to be “too old”. I’m starting to agree.

But rejoice because I got the comic updated with shading! Did you notice that it looked a little flat? I did…

I’m going to keep today’s post rather short as it is a holiday weekend here in the States and I don’t want to keep you from your fun.

I’m working on lots of different comic projects right now which is very very exciting. I’m putting together a set of new content specifically for the book which is awesome and I’m currently writing it. I’m going to bring Diane on this one to bring the writing level up a notch, so if you notice it makes a bit more sense, well… that’s why.

I’m also working on a really cool steampunk project but it’s in the early stages as of now. It too is also in the writing stages but I’m also doing a lot of concept work on it so expect to see some random pieces fly up on the site every once in a while. I can’t tell you when it’s expected to come out but it’ll be in graphic novel form (unless it gets picked up) so the whole story will be available in print at once.

Friday Shout Out: Zombie Roomie

Do you like zombies? Do you like things that are funny? Yeah, thought so. Zombie Roomie is something you should check out. This comic is not your typical run-of-the-mill zombie strip and it’s hilarious. Zombie Roomie was created by John Wigger and is updated 3 times a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

As the name implies, this comic strip is about a man named John and his zombie room mate George. I’ve been reading it for a few months now and I love the amount of nerd humor that springs up in this strip. For example, we randomly see our heroes in what would appear to be a temple of doom (or what ever that one was from the first movie) with the classic gold statue head. Our heroes even admit that they’ve seen Indian Jones enough time to know that if they mess up, a bolder will come down and kill them. What do they do? See for yourself here.

It’s also random. Sometimes we have a story that connects strip-to-strip but most times it’s just random and I don’t know about you, but I enjoy random. The art is also very enjoyable with nice character design and backgrounds that mess really well together. To sum it up, it’s John’s first webcomic project but he already handles it like a pro.

Still not sure what to make of it.
