In today’s comic we see Desmon’s reaction to the “What To Expect” book. Did anyone else have this problem as well? It just felt like a manual of all the things that could go wrong with your baby and frankly, that just made my life that much harder. I don’t need to know that improper warmth during the first 4 weeks of life can lead to low blood count in feet thus increasing the risk of diabetes (The previous statement is not true and is only used for an example). Telling me these things isn’t going to get me to avoid it, I’m just going to concentrate on it that much more!

Also in the world of Plus One, can you hear that? It’s the sound of my comic buffer and my ability to breath a little bit. I don’t know why I didn’t do this before! Yes, I stayed up till 12:30am tonight working on the comic, but I’m working on NEXT MONDAY’S comic. I could technically go to bed anytime I want and there would be no consequence tonight. I’m not going to take that road, but the ability to is so relaxing. And I like to relax.

A buddy of mine loaned me the first few books in the Invincible series. So far I’ve read the first book and it’s pretty good. He kept talking about how it’s kind of boring until you hit “this one point” and I believe I’ve gotten there. I’m not hooked, but I can see this story getting pretty interesting. I’ll keep you posted on it as I read more books.
