I couldn’t think of something to say about New Years that hasn’t already been said, hence I go with my regular new years resolution. You see, I support people who go for New Years stuff, but for me, if I want to do something, I just do it. I don’t need one day out of the year to tell me to change. But just to be a part of the heard, I did come up with a brand new resolution for 2011:

I’m going to give up gambling.

Since I don’t have any desire to such a crazy thing, I’m doing pretty good so far. Diane resolved to not get engaged again. I will appreciate it if she can follow through on that.

Which brings me to an interesting thought, why do we even do New Years resolutions? I know the idea is to start off a year fresh but the whole idea of 2011 is based on the Roman calender, if you’re Jewish, you’re way past 2011 and Saturday is just another day. Maybe I’ll expand upon this in a long post. Maybe that it’ll be my new resolution since I’m kicking so much ass at the gambling thing.

I also submitted my character portrait to the Comic Creators Alliance today. I’ve talked about it before, so check out my previous post here. For those too lazy to refresh yourself, it’s basically a program to raise money to help stop human trafficking. A good idea if you ask me.
