So the context of this strip is simple. Desmon and Violet have had their moment and they are now heading to the party. The part that I realize might not be so obvious is that they are actually going to their own party. That’s right, Desmon set up an engagement party to celebrate the event. A little cocky to assume Violet would say yes, but if she hadn’t left him yet after Anna was born, he had a pretty good shot that she liked him.

In other news, I’m officially taking my new computer back as it has crashed on me AGAIN. That’s right, with in the first 4 days of using this brand new, amazing machine, I got the blue screen of death twice. Not once. Not three times. But twice. I told myself that the first one was a user error and hard to figure out what was wrong. Then it happened again and I drew the line. Not sure what I’ll do for a replacement as of yet but I’ll work on. There shouldn’t be any gaps in comics though, so keep checking back for more parenting fun.
