Today is the first of a short 3 part series entitled “Morning Routine” in which I’ll be showing a few scenes from a normal morning. Today we find Desmon fighting the clock, Anna and Taz for a few more minutes of shut eye. How many people are still fighting this? Be it the snooze alarm or a noisy child who refuses to sleep in?

Back when we had our daughter in the room with us at night I got really good at waking up but not moving. As our daughter would normally wake up before us, she’s casually play in her crib until we woke up. Thing is, if she saw us moving she’s assume we were awake and then start to get really noisy or bounce around a lot. Well, like I said, I got really good at waking up completely motionless. Take that T-Rex… err… I mean baby daughter of mine.

I’d also like to note that last Friday’s April Fools strip was a major success! I’d like to thank anyone who stopped by during that day and if you’re reading this now, welcome back. If you didn’t catch it, I did a character swap with Doc over at Callous Comics (you can check out his comic here).

Last I’d like to thank my friend who came over last night and hung out with me while I colored today’s strip. I know it probably wasn’t the most exciting thing in the world to watch me click a button but I hope our conversation was worth it. Remember: You are a certified SEO master!
