Today’s comic is finally up! And probably features the most words I’ve ever crammed into 6 panels. Sorry if you feel like you’ve read a short story when this is over, I felt like I was writting one while making it.
So I’ve been meaning to introduce Calvin’s parents for a while but it just wasn’t happening. While I’d like to have said more about them before today, I feel like this is a good strip to start off these guys. You did see John waaaaaaaaaaaaay back in the day, but it was a one panel shot (see panel 2). Just one of those story elements that I didn’t have time for so I had to save till later. When I do the book for year 3, you can be sure to see more John and Pat.
And as a cool little surprise, I’m going to pull open the blinds and show you something I’ve been working on. I won’t tell you what this is for but I will say that this is just one of many. Next time I speak of this project will hopefully be the day it’s done. Check it out!

I’m glad they have Calvin’s parents in their lives, they are definitely giving them the reassurance they need. It just goes to show the importance of surrounding yourself with positive people.
I like the Sinestro as a dad Dustin. Can’t wait to see more and what this project is.

I’ve been wanting to bring in Calvin’s parents for a while as a supporting character set. While Glinda, June and Seth are good family support, no one is really talking with them about being a parent. I’m looking forward to having those guys on as regular people (much like Wilson from Home Improvement, they’ll pop in to lend some helpful advice and then move on).
And Sinestro, I’m loving it. I have a few lines I need to change but other then that, it turned out just the way I wanted it too.
