Hello everyone!

I know I said I would go ahead and post some stuff regarding Emerald City Comic Con and I failed horribly at that. I am sorry. But I am here to officially go on the record to say what’s up. Oh, and if you don’t feel like I update enough on here, you can always follow me on Twitter or Facebook, I tend to post my random thoughts on there rather requently.

First and foremost, I have a wedding coming up really soon. In roughly…. 22 days, I will be marrying the coolest woman in the world. The only downside to this is that we’ve taken most of the wedding planning on ourselves, opting to make or custom tailor large portions of our celebration. While this is awesome and fun it has also left us with very little time. We are making lots of things, hand picking various elements and putting a very personal touch into every aspect of the wedding. It’s awesome! But talk about hard work. Can I stress that enough? Hard work!

So that’s priority number 1 right now. Then after that comes freelance work and my daughter. Now, both are doing really well and my daughter has actually entered her first days of day care this week. We’re only going 4 days a week so she can have lots of fun 2-year-old interactions. She loves the play time and I love the time to be an adult. I have more clients now then I’ve ever had before which means more $$$ and more projects but they do take time as well.

But the biggest thing that’s stopping me from posting comics (heh, like the other reasons above weren’t enough) is that I’m actually preparing to be in the Stumptown Comic Convention going on at the end of this month. That’s right folks, I will be setting up a booth, making public appearances and generally causing trouble. I will officially be sharing a table with Diana Nock of The Intrepid Girlbot (which is scary as hell cause she’s been nominated for an award), which means you’ll be able to find me at booth E9. I’ll make an official announcement when I get my booth info in the mail so look forward to that very soon.

Ok, I think I’ve said enough about what’s going on right now. I do not have a set date of return for Plus One yet, my main goal is just getting past the wedding on May 12th. Once that’s ok, hopefully production can start back up again.
