Desmon

Desmon is the type of guy who is easy to get along with and hard not to like. That is what originally caught Violet’s eye. But things have taken an unexpected turn and this 20 something now has to learn what it means to be a parent, a grown up and yet retain his boyish charm.

Violet

Violet just wanted a friend who she could finally have fun with. Well, I guess she’s going to be stuck with this friend for some time to come. Although originally from England, Violet has adapted to the American way of life and enjoys any challenge thrown her way. Though this challenge was not something she was ever expecting.

Anna

Anna is the product of luck and spunk. She’s the reason that Desmon and Violet are so close now and is the result of a crazy, hectic and long pregnancy. While she would enjoy long walks on the beach and spending time reading, she’s more of a milk and nap kind of gal.

Ben

Ben loathes children or anything resembling such. As Desmon’s friend, he’s brought into a challenging situation of dealing with the knowledge that his best friend is about to be a father. He offers sage advice in the form of escape plans and cleverly disguised css.

Molly

Molly is the polar opposite of Ben and can’t wait to see Desmon and Violet’s journey begin. Constantly amazed at the miracle of life, she’s thrilled at every aspect of Violets pregnancy. To describe her as bubbly and enthusiastic would be a huge understatement.

Glinda

Desmon’s mother Glinda is an interesting character. While not to excited about the prospect of getting old (and becoming a grand mother), she’s slowly warming up to the idea. She’s so much into this idea that she’s even come up with her own nick name: GiGi!

Taz

Violet’s overly personal cat Taz is the laid back, nice kind of cat that you’d love to have with a kid. While he’s easy going, he can get pushy sometimes as he searches for food, attention and a nice place to nap.
